Allison is a licensed clinical social worker currently practicing psychotherapy locally in the Denver metro area and remotely in the state of California. She was born and raised on the East Coast where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate education.

She attended Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, New York where she majored in Psychology with a focus in Neuroscience. She began her career working with young children at Four Winds Hospital in their acute inpatient setting. Allison then relocated to Boston, Massachusetts where she spent a few years working with adults in longitudinal substance abuse research at the Harvard Medical School Affiliate, McLean Hospital. After completion of her research experience, Allison reconnected to her clinical passion by working with adolescents grappling with anxiety, depression and self-harm in residential care at McLean Hospital. She then attended Boston College, where she earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, graduating with honors.

Allison began her post-graduate career in eating disorders and exercise addiction as a Primary Therapist at Monte Nido & Affiliates, in Malibu, California. She trained under the coveted individual supervision of Carolyn Costin, a world-renowned expert and pioneer in the field.

Having earned her strong academic background on the East Coast and honed her hands on education at one of the most successful treatment centers in Los Angeles, Allison is delighted to bring her skills to Denver, Colorado. During her initial transition, she had the privilege of working at the prestigious Denver University, in their Health and Counseling Center and has since transitioned to full-time private practice for both Colorado and California residents.
